How to/Heavenly eyes
The best part about this is that it’ll look great on any eye color!

It may be hard to pull off, but you can do it! There are some outfits that are just made by the shorts, and you may be dying to show off a little more definition in your stems. Believe it or not, you can wear shorts in the winter and not freeze!

Here’s Olivia Palermo in some bootie-heels and denim shorts with what looks like leggings. Leggings can be super-thin, but these are opaque enough to not be confused with tights. They’ll keep you warm! And keep you chic.

So your other option besides leggings is a pair of tights. Tights won’t keep you as warm, but they can add texture to the outfit the way this pair does. Plus it makes it more fall-winter appropriate because they’ve got that sweater pattern.

I have to say I LOVE this look! I like that she’s wearing grey leggings, unlike anything black which is chic and works but it’s also a little safe. Plus, that coat is gorgeous and I bet that when it’s buttoned up it looks fantastic! A longer will a) give you different proportions, which can be good or bad based on your body type and b) keep you warmer!

Just a reminder: Don’t let yourself get boxed in thinking you can only wear denim shorts! And props to this chick for the Audrey photo in the background.

Here’s the basic black legging with some shorts, and it’s totally “wintered up” by that sweater and the boots. This way you don’t look like you’re wearing exactly what you did in July plus a few layers. It also balances the short-shorts with that looser sweater.

Long story short, I know this can be a difficult one to pull off. But I believe in you all! I know you can do it!

Lips of crazy colors have (believe it or not) been very on trend for the past two seasons or so. So you tell me, have you seen it in person? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Would YOU ever do it?

There are a million different styles, a million ways to wear. Cardigans are essential for every season. Hear that? EVERY season. You may not wear your cable-knit cardi in July, but you’ll definitely wear a thin one when the summer goes down on a summer night. There are so many outfits you’ll wear them with!

This is probably the simplest way to wear a basic cardigan. But that’s the best part about them, you can throw them on top of just about anything!

I’m not a fan of Blake Lively’s, but I like this look! Proof that you can wear a cardigan alone and it can still be classy.

I love how it looks belted with a dress! What a great pop of color too.

A cardigan can add a lot to an outfit. Can you imagine if that one was solid black? The outfit would be a little… boring. Total colorblocking, but with so many neutrals, the outfit would just say “meh”. The polka dots make it fun! My point is that your cardigan can be a statement.

Although I have no idea what kind of climate this chick lives in where she can wear that many layers on top with short shorts, I love how she did the top half of her outfit! This is one of my favorite ways to wear a cardigan, over a collared shirt. You roll the sleeves up over the cardigan sleeves and let the collar pop and it looks preppy-chic!

Stock up your closet because you know you’ll need TONS!
