This floral shirt is literally one of my favorite things in the world. I bought it on eBay, like I do with so many things. I really need to write a post about that, how to successfully buy things on eBay. On my list!

Shirt: American Eagle (bought on eBay for $5)
Shorts & Belt: Hollister. I don’t remember the price considering I’ve had these shorts since the eighth grade… I need to grow.
Shoes: Kohl’s, $16. You can’t tell, but they’re actually teeny tiny wedges. The heel is only about an inch high!
Sunglasses: An ex who is never getting them back.
Meet my roommate Trish! She’s in a sorority and they were required to dress in “pin attire” this week, which basically means dressing up. It’s in the 80s here today, so we were trying to figure out how to incorporate the weather and her dress code. This is what we decided on:

Shirt: Forever 21
Cami: Kohl’s
Shorts & Belt: American Eagle
Flats: Charlotte Russe
I also did her eye makeup today, she has blue-green eyes so I did something super simple. Shimmery brown lids with a hint of contouring, a light brown liner and bold black mascara.

Last but not least, I wanted to do something a little different with her hair. Short hair can be hard because the easiest thing to do is straighten it and leave it down. Those of us with short hair don’t have very many options! Her sorority’s little mascot thing (can you tell I’m not a sorority girl?) is a ladybug, so to tie into Greek Week we added the bow! I put her hair half-up, and my biffle Sam (who has tons of bow-crafting experience from her cheerleading years) made this bow to put in the back.

Thank you Trish for being my little Barbie sometimes, even though I’m sure it’s nice to have a fashionista as a roommate. And of course thanks to my best friend Sam, who made the bow and puts up with me.
