Maybelline launched this collection in February, and whoever is head of their product development deserves a raise. It comes in 10 vibrant shades, from hot pinks to popping plums. I only have three of the colors (this is broke college style, after all) and I’ll do a second post on the ones I have. For now, let’s take a look at the whole collection!
860 Pink Pop
This is the epitome of a bubble gum pink. It actually reminds me a lot of Nicki Minaj’s Mac collab!
865 Fuchsia Flash
This is definitely the Barbie pink of the group. I’m actually pretty sure it’s the same color as my high school prom dress. This is one of the ones I own and will review later so stay tuned!
870 Shocking Coral
Coral is SO in this season, and I love how this is a bright coral that’s more red than pink.
875 Vivid Rose
To me, this is a super bright berry that would look great on any skin tone. I have this one too, review to come!
880 Electric Orange
This is definitely made for the more daring lady. The color is so hot right now!
885 Vibrant Mandarin
This shade is one that’s a little more red than orange. Easier for us who can’t really go the full monty orange-wise!
890 Neon Red
Although reds are done year-round, I feel like this is a color that you don’t see very often. I have it and will talk about it in that next review!
895 On Fire Red
This is probably the only color in the collection that is close to something you could find somewhere else. But who doesn’t need an amazing firetruck red in their lipstick arsenal?
900 Hot Plum
What’s amazing to me is that this shade is like Pink Pop’s darker younger brother. The tones are so similar, so if you’re gonna go on a buying spree and either of them work on you, I’d suggest buying them both!
905 Brazen Berry
This deep deep plum would look perfect on darker skin tone. It’s the perfect bright purple for those who’ve got the guts!

Overall these shades are knockouts. A bright, matte lip is so on trend right now, and Maybelline hit the mark releasing these specific shades at this specific time. I’ve found too that trying to find a matte bright shade that doesn’t look cheap is not easy. It’s almost as if they’ve been written off by drugstore cosmetic companies until now, so they had a couple bright ones as a novelty and didn’t spend the time and effort to get the shades right. With a wide range of colors, there’s something for every color comfort level and skin tone. For the past few years, neon has been king. I think this spring and summer, pastels will take over. So with that comes a ton of new outfits when you have different colored jeans. My prediction? Mint will be everywhere!

The first way to wear mint (or any other colored) jean is to pair it with neutrals. When it comes to lighter neutrals, you’ll have an all-over pastel look.

I love how bright these are! Once again it’s paired with a neutral grey, but she added a salmon scarf. I’ve seen this combination a few times and I have to say I’m obsessed.
Don’t forget you can go dark with your neutrals too. I love this mint-and-black look because it’s way more appropriate for night.

Hey Candice Swanepoel! She knows what she’s doing: she’s gone with white.

Aside from neutrals, you can add pastels!

Don’t think you can’t add a print! I especially love it here with the leopard print loafers. It’s current, classy and fresh.

Accents can make all the difference, I love the metallic collar! It adds dimension to the whole outfit.

And here beings my obsession with this color combo. I need these jeans and this bag IMMEDIATELY.

They’re showing up more and more, and not just on Samantha’s weird skater dress on Project Runway. (Anyone, anyone?) Whether it’s a shirt or a simple sundress, it’s an adorable way to show some skin this summer!

This is the most common way to do it, on the back of a sundress. I like that this one has sleeves though!

LOVE that it’s trimmed!

I seriously can’t get over how great this outfit is. I want!

It can even work on the front!

Definitely looks like a DIY job, something pretty easy to copy.

So cute in the pleather, makes it edgy AND cute.

I ADORE this huge one in the front! I need that dress like now.

I actually really like that this one is smaller than most.

I was so happy to find a good drugstore dupe of this one, I know Orgasm is a cult favorite!
